Based in Sonoma, California, I am a fine art photographer who found my calling behind the lens.

I began photographing as a teenager while growing up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. Quiet and introspective, I was searching for a way to slow things down and make sense of the world around me, and photography offered that pause. With the support and encouragement of a high school art teacher, the camera became more than a tool. It became a long-term companion that continues to guide my work today in Northern California, where I relocated in 2024.

Over the years, my photography has been shaped by extensive travel across much of the United States. From national parks and rugged coastlines to busy downtowns and quiet backroads, I explore a wide range of environments on foot or on wheels, letting movement and wandering lead to unexpected scenes. This combination of travel and patience has deepened my awareness of how space and atmosphere change from place to place, influencing how I approach each image. I work entirely with digital photography, using modern tools and a careful editing process to stay true to what I experienced in the moment.

My work focuses on moments of stillness that often go unnoticed, where subtle shifts in light and space invite quiet reflection. In today’s world, where countless images are captured by our phones and quickly forgotten, I believe photography still holds the power to endure. Guided by instinct, I balance intention with a willingness to let each experience unfold naturally. I enter a place with a sense of direction and intuition, then allow light, movement, and observation to shape my decisions in real time. With thoughtful awareness, patience shapes my process, allowing me to visualize how scenes may evolve over time and wait as stillness and subtle changes guide the moment the image is captured. Whether shooting many images or just a few, my work is driven by a desire to feel fully present, a sensibility that lives within every photograph. My work is meant to exist beyond the screen, designed to be displayed and appreciated over time.
